HHCE is a modern, specialist global communications company, whose personal approach and commitment keep major customers coming back for more, year after year. We help companies all over the world to conquer old and new markets, while never losing sight of the customer’s need.

Elsbeth Rooker, Senior Partner at HHCE: It’s always tricky to explain who we are. At our company, we prefer to focus on our customers, and not so much on ourselves. If I ask my colleagues what HHCE stands for, they all say that we are committed, professional, flexible, solution-driven experts, and that we also have a relaxed working environment. The latter is certainly important too!

To me, the most important thing is taking customers seriously and really understanding their position. What can I offer them support with and what do they need in order to achieve their goals? Serving our customers is second nature to our company. Translation is serious and should only be done by professionals who never lose sight of the customer’s needs. It really makes my day when customers tell me that their international partners are pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of their texts. That’s what HHCE is all about!

Studying German and Dutch at the University of Cambridge has opened my eyes to the rich and varied possibilities that languages offer. For me, producing texts that read naturally and facilitating communication between different languages and cultures are the most rewarding aspects of translation.
