It goes without saying that all of our translators are native speakers. They’re highly experienced with a qualification in languages, but that’s really not enough. Our translators don’t just look at the text, they ask questions and want to put themselves in your shoes. They want to know your story and your mission and vision. They also want to know who you communicate with, how you do that and what platform you use.
We won’t bore you with all the different tools we use to produce translations. After all, a carpenter doesn’t tell you how his jigsaw works. The end product has got to be good. HHCE uses tools that cut translation costs, guarantee consistency and streamline the translation process.
Every field has its own terms and each company or organisation has its own jargon. That needs to be reflected in the translations and the terms must be used consistently, which is why we put together glossaries for each customer that we maintain in a database. Since terminology changes now and then, certain terms fall into disuse, while new ones emerge. We keep track of all that for you.
Machine translations are getting better and better. Neural machine translation is really on the rise and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to produce much better results than the traditional Google translation. Even so, we can’t yet use neural machine translation for all types of text. Marketing texts, annual reports and specialist professional texts can only be translated by human translators. It all depends on who you want to get your message across to and what you want to achieve. Feel free to contact us for advice.
You want to reach an international audience, naturally while maintaining the quality of your text. I’ll discuss your requirements and expectations in detail with you, and our translators will then get to work to provide you with the translation you’d envisaged.
