HHCE has more than proved itself when it comes to translation. We’ve translated millions upon millions of words, and you’ve probably come across one of our texts before, without even knowing it. And that’s the way it should be. You shouldn’t realise you’re reading a translation.
Native speakers, and so much more
It goes without saying that all of our translators are native speakers. They’re highly experienced with a qualification in languages, but that’s really not enough. Our translators don’t just look at the text, they ask questions and want to put themselves in your shoes. They want to know your story and your mission and vision. They also want to know who you communicate with, how you do that and what platform you use.
Human translators
A translation by a human translator is pretty much always better than a post-edited AI translation. Human translators don’t just look at the text, they ask questions and want to put themselves in your shoes. That’s something AI doesn’t do. Our translators want to know your story and your mission and vision. They also want to know who you communicate with, how you communicate and what platform you use.
AI can be used for low-impact texts that need to be translated fast, like manuals or contracts. But you’re better off using a human translator for texts that say something special about your company or organisation, or texts about a highly specialised topic.
There’s no avoiding terminology
Every field has its own terms and each company or organisation has its own jargon. That needs to be reflected in the translations and the terms must be used consistently, which is why we put together glossaries for each customer that we maintain in a database. Since terminology changes now and then, certain terms fall into disuse, while new ones emerge. We keep track of all that for you.
Humans versus AI
HHCE uses a translation system that combines a translation database with neural machine translations and GenAI. We don’t use this combination for all translations. Human translations are still necessary. But even for human translations, we still use translation tools to make sure terminology is applied consistently and to identify inconsistencies.
